Yes, that's one of the main reasons for clubrides.eu. Every ride has its own chat, plus club and topic channels and direct messages, all without phone numbers.
Can we bring our data over from cyql?
There's no automatic import. You upload routes as GPX files, and members join with the club code or an email invitation. For most clubs that's done in one evening.
