The app for club rides
clubrides.eu brings route planning, sign-ups, and weather forecasts for your cycling club into one place — with your own branding per club.
What clubrides.eu does for your club
Plan rides, members join in one click
Guides create rides with date, meeting point and pace groups: one ride, several paces — each group with its own route, its own guide and its own chat. Members join the group that suits them and can switch at any time. Public rides let guests ride along without membership — an easy way to attract new members.
One route collection for the whole club
Routes with a GPX file, shown as an interactive map, with star ratings and comments from members. Add a route once, reuse it for any future ride.
Recurring training times, set up once
Once configured, rides for a recurring training time appear automatically 30 days ahead. Add the route shortly before — everyone signed up gets notified.
All of your club's communication in one place
Every pace group has its own chat, plus there is a club-wide channel for everything that concerns the whole club, and direct messages between two members. Images can be pasted or dropped in, messages can be reacted to with emoji, and anyone who needs quiet can mute a chat. New messages arrive as a push notification — without anyone needing your phone number.
Cycling gear stays within the club
Members post their own listings — title, price, description and up to three images — and mark them as draft, active or closed. It is visible only within your own club, never publicly; contact runs through a direct message to the seller. What otherwise gets lost in club group chats now has a fixed place.
Weather forecasts right on the ride
Temperature, precipitation, and wind direction for every ride's start time — including a wind-direction arrow to compare against the route. No second app required.
Every ride in your own calendar
Subscribe to all rides or just specific tags — public, or via your personal link. New and changed dates show up automatically.
Routes land in your Garmin or Wahoo account automatically
Connect Garmin or Wahoo once — the route for every ride you join uploads there automatically. From there it lands on your device the next time it syncs — no more manual exporting and importing.
Always in the loop on what's happening
New rides, sign-ups and cancellations, updated routes, new comments — it all lands automatically in the club's shared activity feed. Every member can see at a glance what's going on.

Questions? We've got answers
Can guests without a membership join rides?
Yes. Guides can make individual rides public — they're then visible without login, and anyone interested can sign up with a regular guest account. An easy way to attract new members to the club.
How does our club communicate in the app?
In one place, on three levels: every pace group of a ride has its own chat, readable only by those signed up and anyone who joined it deliberately. For everything that concerns the whole club there is a shared channel. And any two members can message each other directly. Images, emoji reactions and muting are built in; new messages arrive as a push notification. Guests have no access to the chats. That keeps the conversation where its subject is — and nobody has to hand out their phone number for it.
Can members sell cycling gear to each other?
Yes, through the bulletin board. Any member posts their own listings — title, price, description and up to three images — and marks them as draft, active or closed. Listings are visible strictly within your own club, never publicly; guests may read along but cannot post. Contact runs through a direct message to the seller. clubrides.eu is neither the seller nor a broker: purchase, payment and handover are sorted out directly between the members.
Do routes land on my Garmin or Wahoo automatically?
Yes. Once you connect your Garmin or Wahoo account, the route for every ride you join uploads there automatically — no more manual exporting. It lands on the device itself the next time it syncs with your account.
How do recurring training times work?
Set up a recurring training time once (e.g. "Tuesday base ride") and matching rides appear automatically up to 30 days ahead in the calendar. Add the route shortly before the ride, and everyone signed up gets notified.
Can our club use its own colors and logo?
You can upload your own club logo today, already on the Free plan. Custom club colors instead of the blue clubrides.eu default are planned for the upcoming Pro plan.
Is there a clubrides.eu app for iOS and Android?
A native iOS app is already in closed testing via TestFlight, and an Android app is in preparation. Both show the same content as the web app, with real native navigation and push notifications through the operating system on top. Until then, clubrides.eu runs entirely in the browser.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. A native iOS app is available in closed testing via TestFlight, with an Android app coming soon (see the question about that above). Until then, clubrides.eu runs entirely in the mobile browser.
What does clubrides.eu cost?
Getting started is completely free, with no credit card and no time limit — including ride planning with route selection from the collection, public rides with guest sign-ups, training times, weather, calendar subscriptions, Garmin/Wahoo sync, your own club logo, and up to 10 guides & admins. Unlimited guides & admins, internal (non-public) rides, automatic route selection, the bulletin board for classified ads between members, and custom club colors instead of the blue default are reserved for the upcoming Pro plan.
Where is our data stored?
The application runs on a Hetzner server in Nuremberg, Germany; uploaded files and the backups live in Amazon S3 in Stockholm, Sweden. Cloudflare sits in front as a content delivery network. All of it is within the EU. You will find the details in our privacy policy.
